Welcome to the Dolphin Channel’s website, Jacksonville University’s student television station.  TDC features student produced news, sports, and entertainment stories impacting the JU community and the first coast. The student run station showcases projects produced in a variety of JU’s broadcasting classes.  Look for new and updated stories each week affecting JU, the campus and the Jacksonville community.

Crystal Bentley- Senior Station Manager
A Communications major originally from upstate New York, Crystal transferred to Jacksonville University after completing her Associates in Arts Degree at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. She became involved with the Dolphin Channel during fall of her junior year. Additionally, Crystal is a member the Communications Honor Society and a part-time associate television producer for a local news station. Prior to returning to college, Crystal proudly served six years in the United States Army, including a tour in Iraq and Kuwait. Crystal looks forward to pursuing a career in communications as a reporter.
Bianca Rist- Senior Executive Producer
A senior Communications major from Boulder, CO, Bianca decided to become involved with the Dolphin Channel during her sophomore year. As part of the communications study abroad program, Bianca recently traveled to London and Germany. Currently, she is the Vice President for the JU student chapter of FPRA (Florida Public Relations Association), a frequent contributor to the college newspaper, and an active member of Alpha Delta Pi. Bianca is passionate about contemporary issues that affect our society. Her career goals include working in front of the camera as a local broadcast journalist.  
Miranda Iglesias- Junior Producer
A Communications major from Ormond Beach, Florida, Miranda became involved with the Dolphin Channel during the spring of her sophomore year. Actively involved in the JU campus, Miranda serves as a Peer Mentor for Residential Life, Student Ambassador, and is a sister of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority. In addition to her broadcasting talents, Miranda is a concert violinist and plays with the Jacksonville University Orchestra. Miranda enjoys traveling the globe and has explored the Middle East, Romania, and Hungary. Miranda’s broadcasting goals include reporting from international locations and representing under reported areas of the globe.
 
Jeffrey Brawer- Junior Associate Producer
A communications major from Coral Springs, Florida Jeffrey got his start in communications by attending the Communications and Broadcast Arts Magnet Program in Deerfield Beach. He became involved with the Dolphin Channel in the fall of his sophomore year. Since then he has represented the Dolphin Channel and Jacksonville University as a guest speaker at The Florida Scholastic Press Association State Conference. In addition to broadcasting, Jeffrey is an avid sports fan and would like to put the two together in his future.
Jason Marshall- Junior Production Assistant
A Junior Communications Major from Ashland, Ohio, Jason is excited to begin his first year as a member of the Dolphin Channel Staff. Originally a Marine Science Major, Jason was drawn to the exciting world of Broadcast Journalism as a sophomore and looks forward to a future career. He is still in love with the water and works as a head lifeguard at the Barco-Newton Family YMCA. Studying abroad and finding an internship are some of Jason's goals for the rest of his Jacksonville University career.
Professor Annmarie Kent-Willette- Faculty Supervisor
A former award winning television journalist, Professor Annmarie Kent-Willette has successfully crafted the Dolphin Channel into a celebrated student television program. Student productions under the guidance of Professor Willette have received top honors at the Florida Associated Press and scholarship awards from the Florida Broadcasters Association. Former staff members are now working in the broadcast field throughout the country. In addition to The Dolphin Channel, Professor Willette offers broadcast journalism courses abroad, providing her students with a unique and powerful understanding of the American media. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Professor Willette and her young family enjoy living in sunny Florida. Professor Willette completed her BA and MA in Communications at the University of South Florida . Presently, she is a doctoral candidate at the University of North Florida, completing her dissertation on student understandings and interpretations of the media in their lives.
